Who is Chris Russell
My career began in banking and later transitioned into marketing for title companies, eventually leading me to serve as the Marketing Director for Hogan Land Title Company.
A major milestone came when Keller Williams Real Estate Company recruited me as CEO/Team Leader for their local franchise. Over four years, I helped turn the franchise from an unprofitable operation into a thriving business generating over $1 million in revenue. During this time, agent count grew from 100 to more than 300, and market share rose from 5% to an impressive 22%. I also immersed myself in leadership development, coaching, and training, which led to success as a business coach and mentor.
Following my time with Keller Williams, I returned home to accept the role of CEO/President of the Nixa Chamber of Commerce. There, I helped lead the organization through financial recovery and reestablished it as a profitable, impactful force for local businesses. Key accomplishments included launching the Nixa Young Professionals, founding the Nixa Arts Council, taking over the Nixa Sucker Days Music, Arts, and Crafts Festival, and contributing to the Downtown Nixa Revitalization Committee.
In April 2024, I accepted the role of CEO of the Ozark Chamber of Commerce. I am proud to serve a vibrant and growing community, leading strategic initiatives, enhancing member engagement, and continuing to expand programs that strengthen the local economy and enrich our business environment.
Beyond my professional roles, I have emceed numerous charitable events and have served as the stadium announcer for Nixa High School football and other activities since 1997.
My passion lies in coaching, leading, and supporting the success of individuals, organizations, and communities. I thrive when building programs, fostering connections, and helping others reach their full potential.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my leadership experience and commitment to service to new challenges. I welcome the chance to contribute to the continued growth and success of an organization that values vision, community, and impact.
